Admissions at the Islamic Academy of South Jersey

Choosing the right school is an important decision, and we understand that families want to feel confident, informed, and supported throughout the process.

At the Islamic Academy of South Jersey, our admissions process is designed to be welcoming, thoughtful, and family-centered. We encourage families to learn about our school, visit our campus, and engage with our community as they explore whether IASJ is the right fit for their child.

How to Apply

Step-by-Step Admissions Process

To ensure a smooth and supportive admissions experience, IASJ follows a structured process designed to serve both students and families.

  1. Admissions Application & Registration Fee
Families begin by submitting an admissions application along with the required registration fee.
  2. Review of Student Records & Enrollment Forms
Prior school records and required enrollment documents are reviewed to better understand each student’s academic background.
  3. Diagnostic Testing
Students may complete grade-appropriate diagnostic assessments to support proper placement and academic planning.
  4. Student–Parent Interview
A meeting with the student and parent(s) allows us to learn more about the child, answer questions, and ensure alignment between family expectations and the school’s mission.
  5. Admissions Decision
Families are notified of the admissions decision once all steps are completed.

Our admissions process is designed to be informative and supportive, helping families determine whether IASJ is the right fit for their child and for our school community.
